BLACKHORSE REGIMENT CAVALRY MOTORCYCLES
ORIGINAL CHARTER 1972



Club Bylaws of the BHRCM
Mission Statement: We are a family veteran club by definition. We are a collection of Veterans who are now serving or have served with the 11th U.S. Armored Cavalry Regiment, (ACR).

We are Veterans with a common goal. We support the United States of America, The U.S. Military, It’s service members and dependent’s both past and present. 



We will strive to uphold the Honor and Respect of the 11th ACR. We will support other Veterans Clubs, activities, and organizations. 

Honor, Duty, Respect, Family, and Camaraderie are but a few of characteristic’s required to ride with the Blackhorse.



Any action that disrespects these colors will go before a court of their peers.

We are not a 1% club nor to we intend to be in the future. We are a U.S. Military Club. We do not claim any territory, state, town, or area. We are Veterans who served the four corners of the world for our country and have come home to the far corners of the USA. We ride alone until we meet other Trooper’s, Blackhorse Forever, Forever Blackhorse.

We are Cavalry Motorcycles. 


Article 1 

The name of the club is; Blackhorse Regiment Cavalry Motorcycles.

(a) The National Chapter location can be changed only by a majority vote of the board of officers and club members.

(b) The colors of the Blackhorse Regiment Cavalry Motorcycles emblem are as follows; The center patch is a large recreation of the 11th ACR Military patch with a black stallion on a background of Cavalry Red and White bordered with Military Gold. U.S. ARMY to be located on the right between rockers. The front left side of colors will carry the members name at the top with officer, title, or position under it. State of residence if any can be placed on left side of front.
RIP, IN MEMORY OF, VETERANS patches shall be up to the member. Service patches are welcomed as well as ribbons, medals, awards and decorations.





OBJECTIVES


Article 2
(a) Support Military Veterans and their Families.

(b) Create a support system for Combat Veterans of the 11th ACR.

(c) Promote a better image to the public of motorcycle clubs in general.

(d) Be active productive members of our communities.

(e) Support Veterans Organizations Nationwide.

(f) Be family oriented, responsible members with conduct befitting a Blackhorse Regiment Cavalry Motorcycles.




MEMBERSHIP


Article 3

Any person;

(a) Of sound character.

(b) Who is an active duty service member or prior member of the 11th ACR.

(c) DDF 214 Required for verification of service.

(d) Must have a valid motorcycle license in state of residence.


(e) New members will voted on by a majority vote of all members in good standing. New members will be nominated by a member in good standing with the club.

(f) Membership dues will be set by National Officers majority vote.

(g) Support members will be the responsibility of the full member who introduces them to the club. Support persons will conduct themselves in the same manor as full members with no vote, and may not hold a position as an Officer of the club.

(h) Members will be required to attend at least one Military / Veterans function per month. Active Deployment Exempt. Other special circumstances for exemption shall be considered per request.

(i) Each member should attend a Blackhorse function once a year ( Reunion etc.). Active Deployment Exempt. Other special circumstances for exemption shall be considered per request.

(j) All members will conduct themselves in a manor fitting the Blackhorse Regiment Cavalry Motorcycles, the Military, and The United States of America.

(k) Members not upholding our standards will not be a member for long.

(l) Membership can and will be terminated on the spot by any Officer of the club for violations of the Bylaws.

(m) Former members seeking reinstatement must request a meeting with a majority of National Officers. The President has the final decision for reinstatement.
(n) Must own / operate and maintain a motorcycle in running condition at all times.
(o) Every September Membership dues of $25 will be sent to the National Secretary. Failure to comply will result in 25 lashes or late fees.

 

OFFICERS


Article 4

(a) The President will preside over all issues concerning the BLACKHORSE REGIMENT CAVALRY MOTORCYCLES. The Presidents word is final. All Officers within the club will answer to the President. The President will notify Officers, locals, etc of upcoming events that are of attendance required. The President can assign any member in good standing tasks concerning club business.


(b) The Vice-President shall perform all Presidential duties in the absence of the President.


(c) The Sgt. at Arms (SA) will maintain order at all club functions. Ensure order within the general membership. Enforce the Bylaws of the club. Act as representative of the club at the will of the President in issues with other clubs. 


(d) The Secretary/Treasurer shall maintain all meeting minutes. Receive all forms of income for the club, maintain accounting, and make payments for the club. All accounting will be open for review to each Officer at anytime.


(e) Officers will be voted into a term of not more than two years by a majority vote of all members in good standing.

CHANGES

Article 5


(a) Any changes to these Bylaws as they are written will require a majority vote of all Officers. The Bylaws will be reviewed annually by each Officer and proposed changes can be brought forward for a majority vote.


(b) These Bylaws have been written in conjunction with Bylaws from the Original organization as well as updates from numerous Military clubs nation wide.


(c) These bylaws are the sole property of the BLACKHORSE REGIMENT CAVALRY MOTORCYCLES.
